It’s Wednesday so that means that it’s Top 5 Wednesday and this week’s topic is series you wish had more books. To find more about Top 5 Wednesday’s you can join the goodreads group and discover the creator of the group Lainey. So let’s get started…
Number 5: The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Unlike Twilight, The Host is a good story and book in which there are meant to be more books on the series, however I doubt more books will ever be written. Meyer has continuously pushed back the release date to further books so I guess the Host will remain a standalone.
Number 4: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
I have always had this theory that John Green left the Fault In Our Stars just like the An Imperial Affliction, you don't know what happens to the characters at the end of TFiOS or AIA, meaning that I don't believe a sequel will ever be on the cards. If a sequel was to happen I would love the book to be from Isaac's POV though.
Number 3: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
It's not that I want more books that follow after Mockingjay but I do want more books pre-The Hunger Games as I want to see what life was like before Katniss and Peeta and what happened in the 73 Hunger Games before them and how they started in the first place. Although I have my doubts that this will happen...
Number 2: The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Like most people I love the Harry Potter series and would love anything from this world.
Number 1: Take Back The Skies by Lucy Saxon
This is a series but it is a companion series in which each book focuses on a different character but I did fall in love with the characters in Take Back The Skies and would love another book which just focuses on them.
