It’s Wednesday so that means that it’s Top 5 Wednesday and this week’s topic is top five books with disappointing eye candy. To find more about Top 5 Wednesday’s you can join the Goodreads group and discover the creator of the group Lainey but is currently being curated, by Samantha. I haven't done this for a while so this will be interesting but anyway, let’s get started…
Number 5: The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon
After really enjoying the Bone Season last year, I was really excited about the sequel and currently have the third book on preorder which means that I kind of have to read it before March next year. This book is quite big though so I am worried that it will take a long time to read but I can not wait to see where the story goes.
Number 4: The Memory Book by Lara Avery
After receiving a proof of this book at YALC, I did not really know much about but on a whim, I started to read it to find that this was a book that I know I will enjoy. However, I have been in a bit of a reading slump so I need to finish those books before I get to this one.
Number 3: Paper Butterflies by Lisa Heathfield
So after taking part in the #YATakeover last weekend I realised that many people really loved Paper Butterflies. This seems like a deeply enjoyable and important read and I have been told that it will make me cry. We will see about that...
Number 2: Panther by David Owen
I have wanted to read this book for the longest time. It has been one that I have started but have just put back down again so that I can read something else. This isn't a representation of the fact that the book is bad, it's just that I'm bad in the book that I choose to start and not finish.
Number 1: Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen
This is one of the books that I am currently reading but I am so desperate to finish this right now. I need to read and finish Pride and Prejudice!
What books do you want to finish before the end of the year? Leave them in the comments below.
