Top Ten Tuesday: 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't

It's Tuesday which means that it is time for a Top Ten Tuesday post. This week's topic is ten 2015 releases that I wanted to get to but didn't. The Top Ten Tuesday feature was created by The Broke and the Bookish and more about it can be found here. Let's get started...

Number 10: The Lost and the Found by Cat Clarke

The Lost and the FoundI love Cat Clarke as an author so when I saw that she has releasing a new book I got really excited. This one sounds really interesting and I hope to get to this one soon.

Number 9: My Heart and other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga

My Heart and Other Black HolesI have been really excited to read this book for a long time and I don't really know why I haven't read it yet because I really, really want to read it. Again I need to get and read this sometime soon.

Number 8: Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

Red Queen (Red Queen, #1)This has been getting a lot of hype so that is probably the reason why I haven't read this yet and the fact that I currently don't own it. However I would really like to give this a go to see if I like it although I have a lot of books that I want to read this year and this is not a major read for me. I do want to read it though.

Number 7: Seed by Lisa Heathfield

SeedThis has been getting a lot of hype from 2015 so I really want to read it. This is also set in a cult which is something that I have not read about before so I really want to get to it.

Number 6: All of the Above by Juno Dawson

All of the AboveAgain this book has been one of my most anticipated reads of the year and I read an extract of this and I really liked this one. Again another one I need to read SOON.

Number 5: The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson

The Art of Being NormalI really want to read this one as it follows transgender character and I have read limited books about this. Again I am sad I didn't get to this last year but hopefully will get to it this year.

Number 4: Stand Off by Andrew Smith

Stand-Off (Winger, #2)I really, really enjoyed Winger by Andrew Smith and I really need to get to this. Definitely want to do read this.

Number 3: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1)I really enjoyed the Grisha trilogy so when I knew Leigh Bardugo was releasing a new book I really wanted to read it but I didn't get to it. Sometime soon again I hope I really like it...

Number 2: Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

Carry OnI have been a fan of Rainbow Rowell for a long time so I am confused to why I haven't read this yet but I did leave it at university over Christmas so now that I am back hopefully I will get to this soon because I really want to.

Number 1: The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury

The Sin Eater’s Daughter (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #1)The #ukyachat people would probably hate me by that the fact that this is at the top of my list but I just didn't get around to it. I definitely need to get to this in the next month because I really want to read it and it has good reviews. I just hope that I like it...

Book Review: The Great Godden by Meg Rossoff

   * I am reviewing this book which I was gifted for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. * Title: The Great Godden  Author: Meg Rossoff Publisher: Bloomsbury  Source: NetGalley ( Bookshop UK |  Hive |  Goodreads  |  Storygraph ) Book Summary: Everyone talks about falling in love like it’s the most miraculous, life-changing thing in the world. Something happens, they say, and you know … That’s what happened when I met Kit Godden. I looked into his eyes and I knew. Only everyone else knew too. Everyone else felt exactly the same way. This is the story of one family, one dreamy summer – the summer when everything changes. In a holiday house by the sea, our watchful narrator sees everything, including many things they shouldn’t, as their brother and sisters, parents and older cousins fill hot days with wine and games and planning a wedding. Enter two brothers – irresistible, charming, languidly sexy Kit a...

Reviewing All Of The Books

Earlier this year, I decided that I would review all of the books that I read. For the most part, I definitely have but over the last couple of months it has definitely gone to the wayside but that is because I have been so busy. I wanted to do it because I annoyed myself that I reviewed books years after I read them and I often couldn't remember the plot. Trust me this is still the case, but I have kind of run out of books that I need to review this year which is weird for me. My backlog is getting lower and as I am not reading as much, I genuinely think I might run out. This has never happened before. This is of course quite nice because I think that it creates feelings that are much better than remembering a book from two years ago. Thinking about it at the moment does definitely make it easier as it goes into my head on a computer screen and less memory space is always a good idea. I also do think that sometimes it does take the fun out of it though but there are a lot of benef...

Popsugar Reading Challenge 2021 Wrap Up

Every year since 2015, I have had the Popsugar Reading Challenge to diversify my reading. Over the course of the last year, I would like to think that I have done this and looking at did a good job considering I have been so busy over the last year. Even though I did actually have a plan of a book to read for almost all of the prompts, I did just wing it for the latter half of the year. This was because I was just reading what I wanted to and because I was not really reading at all.  So let's see what I read this year... A book that’s published in 2021    Book I Want To Read: Gut Feelings by C. G. Moore Book I Actually Read: Gut Feelings by C.G. Moore An Afrofuturist book Book I Want To Read: The City We Became by N. K. Jemisin  Book I Actually Read:  The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin A book that has a heart, diamond, club, or spade on the cover  Book I Want To Read: Heartbreak Boys by Simon James Green Book I Actually Read: Ace of Spades by Faridah À...
